Collier County sheriff's deputies are on scene at a natural gas main break that shut down lanes in Golden Gate.

A puncture to the 8-inch gas pipe occurred around 5:30 p.m. in the area of Santa Barbara Boulevard and I-75, causing deputies to close both northbound and southbound lanes of Santa Barbara Boulevard between Golden Gate Parkway and Radio Road.

Residents coming south will be permitted on Recreation Lane and Prince Andrews Boulevard.

Residents coming from the north will be permitted to get to Berkshire Pines Road and Devonshire Boulevard.

All other traffic is being turned away.
